Grist Haven Lodge

Grist Lake Lodge is located 200 km northeast of Edmonton; approximately a 2.5 hour drive south of Fort McMurray; or 3 hours north of Lac La Biche.

Grist Lake is a small, deep lake (3 miles long and 300’ deep in spots) with lake trout, whitefish and northern pike in Northern Alberta.

Fishing Northern Alberta in the summertime brings up to 18 hours of daylight which means you will have all the time you will need to land that “prize” you’ve been dreaming for. For even more action, bring your fly-fishing gear and play with the pike a short walk away at Jumbo Lake.

Grist Haven Lodge is open year round and offers accommodations to suit all your needs. Situated on a white sandy beach on the south shore of Grist Lake, the main lodge constructed of native logs and six cabins plays host for some of the finest fishing in Northeast Alberta.

If you fancy camping we have a recreational vehicle campground, located on the north shore of Grist Lake, adjacent to the airstrip. This campsite has washrooms, tables and fire pit areas; but no other services.

Come and enjoy the beauty and charm of nature in its purest state.

Accomodation

The main lodge contains a comfortable living room, cozy fireplace, licensed lounge and satellite T.V.

Booking Policy

Check in time is 2:00 p.m. Check out is 11:00 a.m.

Pets are permitted. Please inform us at time of booking. An additional charge of $15.00 per pet per day will be added. Maximum of 2 pets per cabin.

All prices are subject to GST and Alberta Tourism Levy.

Cancelation Policy:

7 Days Notice Required or NO REFUND.

Cabins:

Cabins are located on a white sandy beach on the shore of Grist Lake. Guests are accommodated in cozy log cabins complete with bathrooms, showers and propane heat. Each cabin has their own barbecue; fire pit; fully equipped kitchenette complete with propane fridge, 3 burner cook top, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. Guests supply their own food, sleeping bags and towels.

Whatever your interest, fishing (summer & winter), hiking, ski-dooing, cross country skiing, quadding, photography or just to take time to relax, Grist Haven Lodge is your place to be!
